Behind the name, FIRUN is a young Swiss company. The four-member team has come together to redefine the sledding experience without neglecting its traditional origin. Technology, comfort and design, as well as the careful selection of high quality and sustainable materials are always at the forefront.

The company Götte & Partners Industrialdesign created the concept and continuously supported the development during the testing stage, so that the knowledge gained could be introduced directly into the product design. To meet stringent quality standards, we work together with a few selected Swiss production and distribution partners.

We put emphasis on direct personal contact, expert advice, as well as prompt and responsive customer support before, during and after the sale of our products. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming an exclusive distributor.

Sleds were used for millennia as a form of winter transport.  Eventually various kinds of leisure models were developed. Modern race sleds were invented in 1870 to entertain British hotel guests in St. Moritz ¹. The first historically documented and official sled race took place in 1883 in Davos. The Davos Platz was used as the course ².

FIRUN is a God in the virtual role play game “Das Schwarze Auge” based in Alveran. His characteristics include winter, cold and hunting ³. A Firunsbart is called a frozen waterfall in the far north ⁴.
